About FBCRI

The Fort Bend Cardiovascular Research Institute (FBCRI) is the research division of Fort Bend Heart Center. We conduct clinical research aimed at improving cardiovascular prevention, diagnostics, and treatment—helping translate scientific progress into practical benefits for patients.

Research Participation

For Patients

You may be eligible for a research study based on your medical history, test results, or specific symptoms. The research team will review criteria and explain the study in clear terms.

  • Ask your clinician whether a study may be right for you
  • Call the office to speak with our research team
  • Bring a list of medications and prior cardiac testing if available

For Referring Physicians

If you have a patient who may benefit from a clinical trial or imaging-driven prevention pathway, we can help determine eligibility and coordinate next steps.

  • Send records and relevant testing (as appropriate)
  • Provide best contact details for patient scheduling
  • We will communicate eligibility status and study progress as permitted
